IBM takes our CSR award this in response to the work of its Corporate Services Corps which has been in operation for the past eight years. Each year hundreds of IBM staff members are assigned to consulting projects throughout the world and work on a pro bono basis. Teams of IBMers link up with government, business and civic leaders in emerging markets with a view to tackling high-priority local concerns. Needy communities benefit from problem-solving, IBM benefits in terms of new market development and team members benefit from an outstanding experience in assuming significant leadership roles. According to the BV judging panel it’s win, win, win and IBM is the worthy winner of the award Most Visionary CSR Programmes Technology Sector United States 2016
