ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) is one of the biggest exhibition centres in the Middle East. It has indoor and outdoor venues totalling nearly 130,000 square metres, and a deep-water mooring facility. ADNEC was opened in 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates. ADNEC features the iconic Capital Gate building, the world’s furthest-leaning tower, with four times more lean than the famous tower of Pisa. ADNEC has recently hosted the 44th WorldSkills vocational careers event, the World Diabetes Congress, and the Nile Property Expo. It features an Innovation Lab, to give its employees a dedicated space to brainstorm and discuss new ideas, and runs multiple workshops and awareness sessions for its staff. The drive and innovation of ADNEC convinced the BV judges that it was deserving of the Most Innovative Exhibition Services (GCC) Award.
