EGYPT’S RecycloBekia aims to close the gap in the electronics recycling chain across the MENA region. RecycloBekia collects, sorts, dismantles, refurbishes and recycles old electronics. It relies on partners to scrub data and refine e-scrap metals. It offers complimentary collection for corporate clients, gives them a green certificate upon pickup and highlights them on RecycloBekia’s website as green partners. They’re also paid if items can be turned around quickly. The BV judging panel applauds the company’s acceleration of circular economies and presents RecycloBekia with the 2021 award for Best Electronic Waste Recycling Solutions (MENA).
