FOUNDED in 1997, Bupa Arabia listed on the Saudi stock exchange in 2008 with an IPO that was oversubscribed by around 900 percent. Today, it’s the largest health insurer in the kingdom. Bupa Arabia serves employees, SMEs, corporates and government institutions. It has launched two programmes — Tebtom and Rahatkom — to offer holistic healthcare services and streamlined hospital visits. The company, voted as a top employer of Saudi women, also provides free health insurance for some 3,000 Saudi orphans. The BV judging panel recognises the consistent efforts of Bupa Arabia, a repeat programme winner, with the 2021 Most Responsible Insurance Company (GCC) award.
