FRENCH transnational Veolia develops innovative methods and technologies for water, waste and energy management that help communities and companies to fight climate change, treat pollution, optimise resources and improve quality of life. In 2020, the group provided 95 million inhabitants with drinking water, produced nearly 43 million megawatt hours and recycled 47 million tonnes of waste. Veolia has concluded a landmark merger with Suez Group, increasing the group’s workforce by 50,000 employees and annual revenues from €27bn to €37bn. The BV jury presents repeat winner Veolia with the 2021 Best ESG Utility Management Solutions (Europe) award.
