SCHRODERS applies impactIQ tools to measure the societal and environmental impacts of its investments, examining the externalities and risk-ridden practices of companies as well as their alignment with SDGs. The asset manager employs active ownership of investee companies to steer them towards more sustainable business models. In the third quarter of 2021, Schroders participated in nearly 3,000 global voting sessions. The firm, which operates from 37 locations worldwide, became a signatory of the Science-Based Targets Initiative and is pushing company chairs to publish climate transition plans. The BV jury names Schroders as 2021’s Most Responsible Asset Manager (UK).
