KOMMUNALKREDIT Austria AG is a pioneer and preferred partner of sustainable infrastructure investments. It was the first bank in Austria to join the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, acquire EMAS certification and issue a social-covered bond. Kommunalkredit targets green energy production and storage, e-mobility, digital communication, data centres and social institutions. New business is growing substantially, with 46 projects and €1.9bn in infrastructure and energy financing implemented in 2021.
